Bryce and Teka’s wedding at the Buckingham Community Center in Fort Myers, Florida was the perfect reflection of magic. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they said “I do” on a warm April afternoon, with spring greenery and colorful florals all around them.

As a Fort Myers wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings that feel personal and true to each couple. Bryce and Teka’s day was filled with intentional details, laughter, and love. Teka wore a stunning lace long-sleeve wedding dress paired with frilly socks and custom shoes that had florals and read Mrs. Jibiti—a sweet touch that made her bridal style even more personal. One of my favorite details was Teka’s cufflink was a little bee, he chose that because Bryce’s loved ones call her “B.” Her mom even wore a bee hair clip to match, tying the sentiment into the day beautifully.

The ceremony itself was filled with charm and thoughtful touches. Guests were welcomed with custom water bottles wrapped with “B & T” and their wedding date, as well as sodas to enjoy before the vows began. They even had personalized koozies that read “Teka & Bryce” with the date—a fun keepsake for everyone to take home. They even included their dog in the ceremony! When it was time for the exit, the guests waved colorful ribbon wands, creating a whimsical and joyful moment as the couple walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

The reception was a heartfelt celebration, full of love, speeches, and color. Guests laughed, cried, and toasted to the newlyweds. Dinner was served family-style with delicious barbecue. Dessert featured delicate macarons and cookies—simple, sweet, and unforgettable.

What stood out most about this wedding was its intimacy. Instead of a large crowd, Bryce and Teka chose to focus on meaningful moments with their closest family and friends. That closeness created an atmosphere that was genuine, emotional, and filled with joy.
